Captain Shane Gentry is a seasoned waterman with over a decade of experience fishing the rich waters of North Carolina’s Crystal Coast. A North Carolina native, Shane has spent his life mastering the art of inshore and nearshore fishing, developing a deep understanding of the local waters, fish patterns, and best techniques to ensure a successful day on the water. Captain Shane’s expert guidance and passion for fishing make every trip an unforgettable adventure.
Beyond his skills as an angler, he’s an experienced boater, navigator, and guide, always putting safety and customer experience first.
When he’s not on the water, Shane enjoys spending time with his family, his loyal dog, and firing up the grill for a good cookout. He’s also an avid cook who enjoys preparing fresh, local seafood. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a first-time fisherman, Captain Shane’s knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm will make your trip aboard Nanny’s Revenge an exciting and rewarding experience.
The Boat
Step aboard Nanny's Revenge, a Sea Fox Commander center console boat, meticulously designed to offer both comfort and exceptional performance for your fishing adventures along North Carolina's Crystal Coast. Powered by twin Yamaha 150 horsepower outboard engines, this vessel ensures a smooth and reliable ride, allowing swift access to both inshore and nearshore fishing grounds.
Key specifications include a beam of 8'6", providing ample deck space for fishing activities, and a centerline length of 26', striking a balance between maneuverability and stability. It has a fuel capacity of 140 gallons, ensuring extended trips without frequent refueling.
Features an onboard live well, a private marine head (bathroom), and ample seating. The layout provides 360-degree fishability and Nanny's Revenge is equipped with state-of-the-art navigation and fish-finding equipment.
